George?s introduction to Tai Chi came through the martial arts he studied while a child by studying the Budo warrior tradition of Karate and Judo. Even though Japanese, these martial arts allowed the young George to gain the physical techniques and mental discipline which is the foundation of all martial traditions. However, having gained the prestigious Black Belts, the teenage George?s study in oriental martial arts was far from complete. It was then that George started studying one of the most spiritually advanced forms of Kung Fu : Tai Chi. Learning under one of the foremost Tai Chi masters, George focused on the deeper hidden knowledge about energy (chi), meditation, and the martial way. It was this that led him, many years later, to write his first book ?Tai Chi The Spiritual Way: From Grounding to Enlightenment?. While learning Tai Chi, George also undertook a degree in Religious Studies. This introduced him to the world?s spiritual warrior traditions. He learned about the Buddhist and Taoist religions underlying his own martial study, such as Buddhism, and Taoism. He learned about the ancient shamanism of the Celts and Native Americans, the classical myths and pantheons of the Greeks and Romans, and the spiritual chivalry of the myths of King Arthur and the Templar Knights. After finishing his degree he became a full time martial arts instructor and eventually created the Harrow Martial Arts Centre in Harrow, London. This is a full time martial arts centre which has over seven different martial arts training within its walls. Then, after creating the Harrow Martial Arts Centre George moved to Glastonbury. Glastonbury has been a spiritual place since before recorded time, and the high spiritual vibration of the place attract those following a spiritual path from all over the world. Here he developed his continued his Tai Chi study, developed his gift as a spiritual healer, and started teaching Tai Chi in Glastonbury, Wells, and Street . George is also one of the founder members of the Glastonbury Psychic & Paranormal Circle which is a hands on experemental group looking at paranormal activity as diverse as remoiote viewing, telepathy, precognition and the after life.
